Installation
Installation in reverse order. Clean the used throttle valve unit "J338" before installation. Clean the mating surface of the sealing ring. Replace the sealing ring. After replacing the throttle valve unit "J338", it must be adapted to the engine control unit "J623".
Cleaning the throttle body "J338"
Note: After installing a new engine control unit - J623 - the throttle valve control unit must be adapted. Dirt/deposits on the throttle valve and its pipe, which change its end position, can lead to incorrect adaptation values. When cleaning, do not scratch the throttle valve housing.
Remove the throttle control unit "J338". Open the throttle valve by hand and lock the valve in the open position using a plastic or wooden wedge "arrow".

Thoroughly clean the throttle body, especially in the area of the closed valve "arrow", using regular acetone and tweezers.

Wipe the throttle body with a lint-free cloth. Allow the acetone to evaporate completely. Install the throttle control unit "J338". Erase the adaptation values and adapt the engine control unit "J623" to the throttle control unit "J338".
