Note: If the master cylinder or slave cylinder must be replaced due to a fault, first check the hydraulic clutch actuation. If the slave cylinder is removed with the tubing connected to the gearbox, do not depress the clutch pedal. Otherwise, the piston can be squeezed out of the slave cylinder and break. The clutch hydraulic actuator is connected by a hose for operation after disengagement - see. arrow 1 - from one of the chambers - see. Arrow 2 - hydraulic brake reservoir. If there is no or too little brake fluid in this chamber, the system may be leaking. Symptoms of external leaks, among other things, are traces of brake fluid under the gearbox, as well as on the lower noise-insulating engine cover under the gearbox. In case of leakage, the assembly must be replaced. Check the laying of the tubing between the main and slave cylinders. The pipeline must not have kinks or be pinched. The reverse motion of the pedal should not be hindered by shifted or additional pads (floor coverings).
