Door Control Panels — Removal and Installation (Skoda Rapid NH1)

Removal

1. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).

2. Remove the inner wheel arch trim panel (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).

3. Disconnect the clamps (1) shown in the figure below.

4. At the rear, detach the clip (4) and the retaining clip (2) of the lower door trim panel (3), as shown in the figure below.

5. Disconnect the lower door jamb trim panel (3) from the lower part of the B-pillar trim panel.

6. At the front, detach all retaining clips (2) from the lower door trim panel (3) as shown in the figure below.

7. Remove the lower door trim panel (3) from the vehicle.

Installation

1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

2. Check and ensure that the lower door frame panel is securely fixed to the double door seal.

Note: Before installing the trim panel, it is necessary to check all fastening elements and, if necessary, replace these elements with new ones.
