Removal



1. Loosen the mounting screw (8) and remove the luggage compartment lid opening lever (7), as shown in the figure below. The tightening torque of the mounting screw during installation is 2.5 Nm.

2. Disconnect the retaining clips (5) of the luggage compartment door trim panel.

3. Remove the trim panel from the vehicle interior (6) as shown in the figure below.

4. Remove the rear window wiper motor cover (4) as shown in the figure below.

5. Remove the expansion rivets (4) shown in the figure below.

6. Unscrew the rivet nuts (2).

7. Pull and remove the tailgate release handle (1) shown in the figure below.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Note: Before installing the trim panel, it is necessary to check all fastening elements and, if necessary, replace these elements with new ones.
