2. Remove the engine top cover (see Section 34).
3. On CFFB and CFGB motors, disconnect the connector (2 in illustration 36.6) sensor "G505" pressure difference, remove the bolt (3) and remove the bracket together with the sensor from the additional fuel pump bracket in the direction of the arrow. Set the sensor bracket aside.
Remark: Sensor "G505" very sensitive so don't let it touch other parts.
4. Press the latches (see illustration 36.11) and remove the upper timing belt cover.
5. Remove the injectors and fuel distribution line (see chapter 4).
6. Remove the PCV hose from the cylinder head cover (1 per resist. illustrations), by squeezing the release buttons.

7. Disconnect the sensor connector "G581" boost pressure control position (see resist. illustration). Remove the vacuum lines from the bracket on the cylinder head cover.

8. Turn out bolts of a cover of a head of cylinders in sequence (6-1 on resist. illustrations) and take it off.
38.8 Tightening sequence for cylinder head cover bolts
9. Release the cylinder head cover from the holders (see resist. illustration) on the rear timing belt cover and remove it from the cylinder head.
38.9 Cylinder head cover retainers
10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. If there is leakage, replace the cylinder head cover gasket and bolts, and the injector gaskets and seals. Bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of cylinders tighten in sequence (1-6 in illustration 38.9) with a force of 10 Nm. Make sure the cylinder head cover is correctly locked into the rear timing belt cover (see resist. illustration). Make sure there is sufficient clearance between the casing and the hub.
