Note: The information below applies only to pre-1998 models. Information for later models was not available at the time this manual was written.
1. Using a small screwdriver, carefully pry up and remove the fog light trim from the front of the bumper.
2. Remove the mounting screws and release the headlight assembly from the bumper. Disconnect the electrical wiring and remove the headlight from the vehicle.
3. Release the retaining clip and remove the bulb from the headlight.
4. Try not to touch the bulb of the new lamp with bare fingers - use a paper towel or napkin. Remove any accidentally left stains by wiping the bulb with methyl alcohol.
5. Install the new lamp, making sure that the reflector is seated correctly and that the assembly is securely fixed.
6. Connect the wiring, then install the headlight assembly into the front bumper. Tighten the mounting screws securely. Then install the trim panel in place.
