1. Locate the turn signal retaining clip in the front corner of the engine compartment. Release the clip and release the indicator assembly from the fender. It may be necessary to remove the air cleaner housing from its mountings to gain access to the right turn signal (see the appropriate Section of Chapter Power supply system).
2. Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise and remove it from the indicator assembly.
3. The lamp base has a bayonet design, so to remove the lamp, press it down and turn it slightly counterclockwise.
4. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Make sure that the indicator assembly is securely fixed in the vehicle wing.
