Removal
Air purifier
1. Remove the air cleaner filter element.
2. In the engine compartment, squeeze the legs of the large spring clamp with pliers and disconnect the air supply hose from the intake manifold cover.
3. The air cleaner housing is located on the right front wheel arch mudguard and is secured with a plastic nut. The two rubber supports of the housing are threaded through the holes in the mudguard. Loosen the nut, release the rubber supports and remove the air cleaner housing from the engine compartment.

4. Remove the five bolts securing the intake manifold cover.
5. Remove the ventilation pipe from the camshaft cover, or loosen the clamp and disconnect the pipe from the intake manifold cover.
6. If you have not done so already, release the clamp and disconnect the intake air duct.
7. Lift the intake manifold cover by tilting it back along the engine compartment. The cover is placed on the air intake pipes and cannot be removed from them until the pipeline is removed. Check the condition of the rubber seal, replace it if necessary.
8. Remove the air intake manifold mounting bolts - the bolts are also used to secure the manifold - and remove the manifold assembly with manifolds and cover from the rear of the cylinder head. Remove the manifold mounting gasket.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. If the intake manifold was removed, do not forget to replace the sealing gasket. Check the condition and patency of the ventilation pipe. If necessary, clean it or replace it.
