1. The system consists of a set of rubber hoses connecting the crankcase ventilation breathers and the cylinder head cover (depending on the vehicle configuration) and an air purifier.



2. On 1.6L models, the system also includes an oil separator, which is a large plastic casing bolted to the rear wall of the cylinder block...



...and hermetically connected to the crankcase cavity. Sealing of joints is carried out by installing sealing rings. If the oil separator is blocked, you should try to clean it with a suitable solvent. If flushing does not help, the oil separator must be replaced. The unit cannot be disassembled.

3. The system does not require any special attention, except for regular checks of the condition and patency of the hoses.
