General information
The fuel evaporative emission control system consists of a purge valve, an activated carbon filled canister and connecting hoses.
The purge valve is mounted in a bracket on the rear of the left wheel arch mudguard. The canister is secured with a special clamp behind the valve.
Replacement of components
Evaporative Canister Purge Valve

1. Turn off the ignition, then disconnect the electrical wiring from the valve.

2. Pull the valve upward to release its rubber supports from the mounting clamp.

3. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the rubber hoses from the valve, marking them just in case to avoid confusion when connecting.
4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Carbon adsorber

1. Disconnect the hoses connected to the canister from the fuel tank and the purge valve from the top of the canister.

2. Unscrew the clamping bolt and remove the adsorber).
