Removal



Note: Use extreme caution as the coolant in the system is under pressure. If the engine is hot, before starting work, it is necessary to relieve excess pressure by removing the expansion tank cap.


1. Drain the coolant into a pre-prepared container (for more details, see the relevant section in the chapter "Cooling system").

2. Remove the accessory mounting bracket.

3. Unscrew the mounting bolts (4) and (5), then remove the engine oil cooler (3) together with the sealing ring (2), as shown in the figure below.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Note: Always replace gaskets and O-rings after disassembly.


1. Install the engine oil cooler (3) together with the new O-ring shown in the figure above.

2. Install the mounting bracket for additional attachments.

3. Fill the cooling system with coolant.

4. Fill the lubrication system with fresh engine oil.
