Removal



Note: After removal, all elements of the thermal insulation coating must be installed in their original position.


1. Remove the soundproofing covering from the engine compartment.

2. Unscrew the mounting screws (arrows) shown in the figure below, then remove the thermal insulation coating of the inner constant velocity joint of the right drive shaft, as shown in the figure below.

  • Unscrew the retainer mounting bolts (arrows).

  • Loosen the right bracket mounting nut (arrow).

  • Unscrew the left bracket mounting nut (nut).
  • Remove both mounting brackets.

3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (arrow) shown in the figure below.

Note: Place a rag under the engine oil pressure sensor to collect any leaking engine oil.


4. Unscrew the engine oil pressure sensor from the engine.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Note: The O-ring must always be replaced after disassembly.

  • Check the engine oil level in the engine after replacing the sensor.
