Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

1. Check and ensure that both oil pump guide pins are installed in their holes.

2. Before installing the oil pump, it is necessary to check the cleanliness of the mesh filter of the oil receiver and the oil channels in the upper part of the oil pan.

3. Install the sprocket into the drive chain, then install the oil pump assembly.

Caution: Be extremely careful when performing the operation described below. If the sequence of actions is violated, the spring of the oil pump drive chain tensioner may jam.

5. Install the sealing ring (position 6 in the general drawing above) onto the oil deflector plate, then apply fresh engine oil to this ring.
