The lever switch is located under the steering wheel and controls: the left lever - the direction indicator, switching between high and low beams and light signaling; right lever - all the functions of the wipers and washer. Operations are described in detail in the SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS.
The lever combination switch consists of two parts. The left part is put on the steering column bearing pipe with a plastic cylindrical surface with splits and secured by tightening a clamping steel holder with a bolt.
The right part of the switch is inserted into the left part and in the correct position it is held by the upper half of the steering column cover. On the combined switch, after installing it on the car, the sound signal wiring element is still fixed.
The left side of the switch also includes a mechanism for automatically turning off the direction indicators when the steering wheel is turned to the forward driving position. The mechanism has a plastic pin located in the holder of the left side of the switch. The finger is extended when the direction indicator lever is moved to the working position. When the steering wheel is rotated, the finger in a certain position of the steering wheel comes into contact with the leash, which is an integral part of the steering wheel, and the finger is hidden. This turns off the turn signal.
The connection of the lever switch to the electrical wiring is carried out by two connectors, one of which is installed on the switch body, and the second on the wiring.
The switches are not disassembled, but they can be replaced individually.
