The lever switch is located under the steering wheel and controls: the left lever – the turn signal, switching between high and low beams and the light signaling; right lever – all functions of windscreen wipers and washers. Operations are described in detail in the SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS.

The lever combination switch consists of two parts. The left part is put on the steering column bearing pipe with a plastic cylindrical surface with splits and is secured by tightening the clamping steel holder with a bolt.

The right side of the switch is inserted into the left side and is held in the correct position by the upper half of the steering column cover. The combined switch, after installation on the car, also has the wiring element of the sound signaling system secured to it.

The left part of the switch also includes a mechanism for automatically turning off the turn signals when the steering wheel is turned to the position for driving in a straight direction. The mechanism has a plastic finger located in the holder of the left part of the switch. The finger is extended when the turn signal lever is deflected to the working position. When the steering wheel is turned, the finger comes into contact with the leash, which is an integral part of the steering wheel, at a certain position of the steering wheel, and the finger is hidden. This turns off the turn signal.

The connection of the lever switch to the electrical wiring is carried out by two connectors, one of which is installed on the switch body, and the second on the wiring.
