Disassembling and assembling the differential (Skoda Octavia 1U)

1 – conical screw, 25 Nm (to secure the shaft with the flange, screw it with the threaded part, position 10); 2 – shaft with flange (with hole for conical screw); 3 – compression spring for shaft with flange (mounted behind flanged shafts); 4 – asynchronous bearing (adjusting washer) (mounted in combination with compression springs behind the flange shafts; assembly position; flange – to the compression spring, bridge – to the conical ring); 5 – conical ring (mounted in combination with compression springs behind the flange shaft) with grooves for engaging the thrust bearing (washer) assembly position: cone facing the differential box; 6 – retaining ring (mounted in combination with compression springs behind the flange shaft; when the shaft with the flange is disassembled, it holds the tapered ring, thrust bearing and compression spring in this position; 7 – gearbox housing; 8 – differential box (installed with transmission oil); 9 – planetary gear; 10 – threaded part (mounted in combination with compression springs behind the flange shaft); 11 – differential bevel pinion axle (press out with a mandrel); 12 – pin with spring (for locking the differential bevel pinion axle); 13 – differential bevel satellite; 14 – rivet (attaching the driven bevel gear to the differential box); 15 – compensation gasket "32" 1 mm thick; 16 – Outer ring/ tapered roller bearing; 17 – Inner ring/ tapered roller bearing; 18 – clutch housing; 19 – set of fasteners (for customer service purposes only); 20 – pinion for the main transmission (riveted at the manufacturer; install, preheating to a temperature of 100°C; install on differential box; forms a pair with the secondary (driven) shaft, when replacing, replace together); 21 – differential box; 22 – Outer ring/ tapered roller bearing; 23 – compensation gasket "31"; 24 – sealing ring; 25 – sleeve
