Attention! The liquid in the cooling system is under pressure, the coolant temperature can exceed 90 V when the engine is warm - risk of burns. Relieve pressure and allow coolant to cool before starting repair work.
Remove the front right fender liner. Clamp the hoses of the cooling system with clamps -MP 7-602 (3094) -. Open clamps -1- and detach coolant hoses from circulation pump -V55-. Unplug connector -3- and remove circulation pump -V55- pos. -2- from the bracket.
Installation
Push the circulation pump onto the bracket. Connect connector -3- to auxiliary heater or circulation pump (depending on execution). Make sure the fixation is secure. Install the lower coolant hose. Keep lower clip -arrow- open until coolant is filled up to upper edge of circulation pump -V55-. Install the upper coolant hose and remove the clip.
Instruction. Make sure the cable is routed correctly. Avoid getting water into the connector housing. Protect the body from impacts and shocks.
Installation in reverse order. If a large amount of air has entered the cooling system during installation work, it must be removed from the coolant circuit. Interrogate and clear errors from the event logger. Start the auxiliary/auxiliary heater and operate at full load for at least 10 minutes to ensure that air is completely bled from the fuel line and check the operation of the auxiliary/auxiliary heater.
