Carefully! To prevent the operation of the injection pump (precision, precisely matched parts) in dry friction mode and quickly start the engine after replacing parts, be sure to do the following. If any parts/components were removed or replaced in the section of the fuel system between the fuel tank and the injection pump, it is necessary to fill the fuel system with fuel before the first start of the engine.
To fill the injection pump with fuel, the following procedure must be observed.
A / m must be filled. Connect the tester and turn on the ignition. In the Guided Functions mode, execute Fuel Delivery Module On. Removing air from the fuel system. The fuel pump turns on. Let the fuel pump run for about 3 minutes to ensure that the injection pump is filled with fuel. After filling the fuel system, start the engine: Let the engine run for a few minutes at medium speed, then turn it off. Checking the tightness of the fuel system. Delete entries in the event log using the tester. Then test drive with at least one full load acceleration. Then re-check the tightness of the high-pressure circuit of the fuel system
Note: If there is still air in the fuel system, the engine may go into emergency operation during the test drive. Turn off the engine and clear the errors from the event log. Then continue the test drive.
Delete entries in the event log using the tester.
