Removal and installation



Removal



1. Remove the upper decorative engine cover assembly.

2. Open the thermal insulation cover (1) shown in the figure below.

3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (8) shown in the figure below.

4. Unscrew the mounting screw (2), move the differential pressure sensor (3) slightly to one side, as shown in the figure below.

5. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (6) shown in the figure below.

6. Unscrew the fastening screw (4) as shown in the figure below.

7. Before removing, spray the exhaust gas pressure sensor hoses (5) with solvent.

8. Loosen the mounting clamps (7) shown in the figure below.

Caution: There is a high risk of damage to the pressure sensor due to damage to the fitting. The hose must be disconnected carefully and in a straight line with respect to the fitting.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
