The trunk lid window is made of safe tempered glass (cured) glass and is tinted in a greenish shade as standard. The glass markings are shown in Fig. Glass markings.
The glass thickness is 3±0.2 mm. On the inside, a horizontally oriented electrical resistance circuit is imprinted for electric heating. The glass is glued into the lid frame in the same way as the windshield glass is glued into the body frame. The glass gluing technology is due to the use of a special adhesive mastic. The rear window glass has a black ceramic coating along the contour on the inside, preventing the effect of ultraviolet radiation on the glue (glue must not be exposed to this radiation) and at the same time performs an aesthetic function – it covers the internal structure of the lid.
