The brake fluid is distributed under pressure from the main tandem brake cylinder using high-pressure rubber hoses and steel tubes. The brake tubes are steel, galvanized, with an external protective layer of plastic. Their anti-corrosion protection is maximum. The outer diameter of the tubes is 4.75 mm. They are pre-bent accordingly and secured along the way in plastic clamps so that they do not come into contact with other parts of the car.

The car is also equipped with hoses combined with steel tubes.

The connection of tubes with hoses and cylinders is carried out by conical seating surfaces and special union nuts. The nuts have fine threads (M 12x1 or Ml0x1) and a hexagon for a 11 mm key. The threaded connection of the hoses has hexagons and grooves for fastening with elastic clamps.

During inspection, it is only necessary to check the integrity of the hoses and tubes operating under pressure. At the slightest damage, the entire part of the pipeline or hose must be replaced, namely with a part of the same number. The replacement must be done by a ŠKODA service. Neither the hose nor the tube can be repaired in any way, even temporarily.
