Parking brake lever fur - shape before and after putting on the lever and lever handrail
The parking brake control lever is assembly related to the body group, but thematically - to the brakes and therefore is disassembled here.
The constructive solution of the lever does not allow it to deviate to the sides and at the same time, the gear cage of its movement is very reliable. A part of the handbrake is also a rod with a balancer for fixing the tips of the brake cables. The balancer, and with it the cable gap limitation, can be adjusted by turning the nut on the threaded part of the rod. On the front of the lever is the arrest button.
A push-button switch is also attached to the lever bracket, which controls the light indication of the lever position. With lever moved (to the braked position) and the ignition is on, the control light on the dashboard lights up.
The handbrake kit is attached to the bolts of the central side member of the body frame with three nuts. The flexible sheathed cables are secured in two clamps welded to the center spar behind the arm mounting assembly. Flexible cables passing into the space under the floor of the body are sealed with rubber cuffs.
The movable part of the lever is covered either with an all-plastic casing, or in the front part of it there is a plastic casing that forms a handrail for gripping the lever, and the rest is covered with fur. The bottom of the mech has a plastic frame with spikes snapped into the back of the center panel.
