Removal
Exterior mirror glass
1. Using a screwdriver, carefully separate the mirror glass from the casing (photo).

Outside mirror unit
2. Remove the adjustment handle and unscrew the mirror adjuster locking ring (photo).
3. Unscrew and remove the interior trim panel (photo).
4. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the mirror adjustment mechanism and outer trim panel. Remove the sealing pad, if present.
Interior mirror
5. The mirror mount is accessible after removing the sunroof control panel, follow the instructions Chapter 22.
Installation
Exterior mirror glass
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Outside mirror unit
7. Install in the reverse order of removal; where applicable, install a new sealing pad on the mirror.
Interior mirror
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
