In the process of manufacturing cars, modifications appear that the manufacturer does not announce. Parts catalogs operate with numerical values, and vehicle identification numbers are needed to accurately identify the required component.
When ordering spare parts, always give as much information as possible. Specify the car model, year of manufacture, body and engine numbers.
The vehicle identification plate is located on the hood latch area (see _ photo).
The body number can be found on the right front suspension tower and is sometimes repeated on the hood latch area (see _ photo).
The engine number is stamped on the cylinder block, just above the timing chain cover (see _ photo).
