Introduction
The volume and frequency of routine maintenance given in this manual is designed for the motorist. These are the minimum intervals specified by the manufacturer. If you want your car to be always in the best possible condition, then you can do some work more often. Regular maintenance increases your vehicle's trouble-free mileage, performance and resale value.
The maintenance procedures in this manual are designed with the vehicle owner in mind that they will do the work themselves. The indicated intervals are recommended by the manufacturer for vehicles driven daily.
If the vehicle is driven in dusty areas, is used to tow a trailer, or is frequently driven short distances, more frequent service is recommended.
If the vehicle is new, it must be serviced by the dealer to maintain the warranty.
