Front seats
Note: On some late model years, the front seats are equipped with side airbags. If so, read the warnings in the appropriate section of Chapter 1 before performing the procedures On-board electrical equipment.
Removal
1. On models equipped with side airbags, disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least one minute before proceeding.

2. On all models, slide the seat to be removed as far back as it will go, then remove the front guide rail mounting bolts.

3. Now move the seat forward as far as it will go and loosen the rear guide rail mounting bolts. Remove the washers.
4. Carefully remove the seat from its original place.
Note: If equipped, be sure to disconnect the electrical wiring from the seat heating/side airbag operating element.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Tighten all fasteners to the required torque. On models equipped with side airbags, take special precautions (see warnings in the relevant Section of the Chapter On-board electrical equipment).
Back seat
Removal

Some models have a single-section rear seat, while others have split-type seats. Each section is removed by folding the backrest forward and then tilting the cushion forward until it releases from its supports.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Make sure that the seat is correctly fixed in the supports.
