Removal
1. Loosen the rear wheel mounting bolts.
2. Raise the car on a lift. Check and make sure that it is securely fixed to the lift supports.
3. Remove the rear wheel completely.
4. Unscrew the mounting screws (1) shown in the figure below.
5. Disconnect and remove the rear left rear suspension height sensor arm (2) as shown in the figure below.
6. Drill out the rivets (1) shown in the figure below.
7. Unscrew the mounting bolts (2) and remove the protective cover of the lower arm (3), as shown in the figure below.
8. Remove the rear suspension spring (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
9. Unscrew the nut (1) and remove the bolt (2) of the fastening (3), shown in the figure below.
10. Loosen the mounting nut (1) and remove the mounting bolt (2) of the shock absorber, shown in the figure below.
11. Loosen the mounting nut (3) and remove the mounting bolt (4) of the rear wheel axle, as shown in the figure below.
12. If necessary, disconnect the exhaust pipe from the suspension brackets.
13. Mark the location of the eccentric bolt relative to (2) the rear suspension subframe.
14. Loosen the mounting nut (1) and remove the mounting bolt (2) shown in the figure below.
15. Remove the rear suspension lower arm assembly.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
