Drainage water hose; 15. Fastening screw, tightening torque 2 Nm.
Removal and installation the air filter housing
Removal
1. Disconnect the air vent hose (2) shown in the figure below.
2. Pull up and detach the air filter housing (1) from the struts as shown in the figure below.
3. Loosen the fastening clamps (3) and (4), then disconnect the air duct pipes shown in the figure below.
4. Remove the air filter housing assembly (1) upwards, first disconnecting it from the C-pillar.
5. Then disconnect the air filter housing from the B and A pillars and remove it completely.
Installation
Note:
- It is necessary to take into account that if the air filter element is excessively clogged,
- the amount of air sucked into the engine decreases, so this can cause a drop in power.
- The inside of the air filter housing must be clean, washed and dry.
- Before installation, make sure that the air ducts and hoses are clean and there are no flammable or lubricating materials on their surface.
- To connect the hoses, use non-silicone grease.
- All hoses and pipes must be secured with appropriate fastening clamps.
1. Remove foreign particles and dirt from the inner surfaces of the upper and lower parts of the air filter housing.
2. Clean the drain hose with compressed air.
3. Next, installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
