Attention. The power supply system is under pressure. Before opening the system, you need to put a rag under the junction. Then release the pressure by carefully disconnecting the connection.
Note. This work step only serves to keep the fuel pump running when the engine is stopped.
7. Check the tightness of the fuel injectors (visual control). Only 1-2 drops of fuel per minute is allowed to leak from each of the fuel injectors with the fuel pump running.
If the fuel leak is more
8. Replace leaking fuel injector.
Note. Always use new O-rings after removing fuel injectors.
Note. The fuel supply pressure should be correct.
1. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors shown in the figure below, (arrows) all fuel injectors.
2. Release the fuel injector wiring harness.
3. Unscrew the mounting bolts and disconnect the fuel distributor (fuel rail) from the intake pipe.
4. Remove the fuel distributor with fuel injectors from the intake manifold (fuel line remains connected).
5. From the fuse box under the instrument panel, remove the fuse for the fuel injectors according to the circuit diagrams of the electrical equipment.
6. Connect one clip of the appropriate fuse holder and the positive (+) battery terminal with auxiliary wires from the auxiliary measuring kit to start the fuel pump.
