Removing
1. Remove the clutch pedal (see Section 6).
2. Detach the return spring from the brake pedal, then remove the black plastic clutch pedal bushing (see photo).
3. Remove the locking bracket that secures the drive rod to the brake pedal axle, then remove the pedal by unhooking the drive rod (see photo).
Inspection
4. Carefully clean all components and replace any that are worn or damaged. Carefully inspect the return spring and the working surfaces of the pedal, its bracket and pivot sleeve. The free length of the return spring should be 60-70 mm; if it is stretched (has a great length), it needs to be replaced.
Installation
5. Install in the reverse order of removal, applying a light coat of multipurpose grease to all hinges and working surfaces. Check and adjust if necessary the pedal height (see chapter 3).
