Removal
1. Remove the clutch pedal (see Section 6).
2. Unhook the return spring from the brake pedal, then remove the black plastic clutch pedal pivot bushing (see photo).

3. Remove the locking bracket securing the drive rod to the brake pedal axle, then remove the pedal by unhooking the drive rod (see photo).
Inspection
4. Carefully clean all components and replace any that are worn or damaged. Carefully inspect the return spring and the working surfaces of the pedal, its bracket and pivot bushing. The free length of the return spring should be 60-70 mm; if it is stretched (has a large length), it needs to be replaced.
Installation
5. Install in the reverse order of removal, applying a thin coat of multi-purpose grease to all hinge parts and working surfaces. Check and adjust, if necessary, the pedal height (see Chapter 3).
