2. The heating element is very fragile, so the following precautions must be taken.
- a) Do not leave luggage or other objects that may rub against the inside surface of the glass when the vehicle is moving.
- b) Do not scratch the coil elements.
- c) Clean the glass only with water and detergent, and wipe the coil elements with a soft cloth or chamois leather.
3. If the element is damaged and current does not flow through it, conductivity can be restored using conductive paint, contact an auto parts store.
4. Note that the system consumes very high current, so it is powered through a relay. The switch only closes the relay coil circuit, through which power is supplied to the heating element and the switch control lamp.
