Removing
1. Make sure the motor is in «parked» position (as described in Chapter 25), then disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Unscrew the nut that connects the motor vase to the wiper linkage (photo).
3. Remove the three bolts securing the wiper motor to the bracket (photo).
4. Disconnect the electrical wiring and motor ground cable (photo).
5. Remove the motor.
Installation
6. Install in the reverse order of removal. Before connecting the motor to the traction arm, make sure the motor is in «parked» position.

7. Make sure the wipers are in «parked» position, then remove both levers (see chapter 25).
8. Remove caps (photo), unscrew the nuts of the traction axle casing, then remove the rubber pads.
9. Remove the motor and linkage assembly far enough to access the wiring connector and ground cable.
10. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery. Disconnect the electrical wiring and motor ground cable.
11. Get assembly of draft and the motor.
12. Now the assembly can be dismantled if required (photo).
Installation
13 Install in the reverse order of removal, paying attention to the following.
- a) If the assembly has been dismantled, install the motor on the bracket. When the motor is «parked» position, the rod should be parallel to the bracket and directed towards the driver.
- b) Lubricate bushings and spacers.
- c) Install the rubber pads correctly.
- d) Connect the motor wiring and secure it.
- e) Make sure the windshield wipers are working properly.
