Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the protective rubber boot and disconnect the wires from the rear of the starter solenoid, noting where they are connected (photo).
3. While supporting the starter, unscrew the two mounting nuts and remove the starter from the transmission (photo).
Installation
4. Install in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the nuts to the specified tightening torque Specifications.
