Removal
1. The antenna mast can be screwed out of its base, inside which the signal amplifier is installed. The procedure for removing the base is described below.
2. In the luggage compartment, remove the rear trim panel to gain access to the headliner.
3. Remove the retaining clips and carefully bend the edge of the headliner down to expose the base of the antenna assembly. Be careful not to damage the trim.
4. Disconnect the antenna cable and wiring from the assembly, then remove the mounting nut. Remove the antenna base from the roof of the car, then remove the sealing gasket. Check the condition of the gasket, replace if necessary.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Make sure that the washer of the fastening nut fits tightly to the roof of the car.
