Removal
1. Firmly set the parking brake, then jack up the vehicle and support it on stands.

2. Remove the mounting screws, separate the vibration damper assembly into two halves and remove them from the shaft.
3. Check the rubber elements of the damper for signs of wear or aging of the material. Replace if necessary. The rubber elements are glued to the body of the damper. Car manufacturers (skoda company) recommend using Champion 25 adhesion.
Installation
1. Thoroughly wipe the mating surfaces of the damper and drive shaft.

2. Install the damper assembly halves onto the shaft, making sure the guide lugs are aligned correctly. Screw in the mounting screws and tighten them to the required torque. The vehicle can now be lowered to the ground.
