Squeaking, scraping when engaging forward or reverse gear, gear shifting is stuck, difficult, impossible to shift gears, clutch does not work. There is air in the system, the clutch does not separate completely.• After removing air from the system, check it and add brake fluid.
Leaky master cylinder of the clutch booster or working cylinder of the clutch release drive, leaky wire.• The faulty part should be replaced, brake fluid should be added, and air should be removed from the wiring system.
Incomplete clutch pedal travel (there is a mat under the pedal), the pedal is not pressed all the way.• Explain the situation to the customer.
Squeaking, scraping when engaging forward or reverse gear, gear shifting is stuck, difficult, impossible to shift gears, clutch does not work. The pressure plate is warped due to faulty installation, the clutch disc is deformed due to improper handling.•Check the parts, replace them if necessary, ensure the centering pins are installed correctly. • If scratching continues, you should check the ease of movement of the clutch disc on the splines of the drive shaft and, if necessary, repair the gearbox.
Broken or bent diaphragm spring tips (incorrect installation, the clutch release bearing runs off-center).• Replace the pressure plate. • Check the clutch release bearing and guide sleeve; replace if necessary.
• Check the centering bushings.
The clutch friction disc is too thick.• To select the correct clutch disc, use the electronic parts catalog
There is a layer of deposited material stuck to the flywheel (long parking periods, high air humidity).• The friction surfaces of the clutch lining should be lightly cleaned with emery cloth and, if the corrosion is extensive, the part should be completely replaced.
The clutch friction disc moves along the splines with difficulty or gets stuck. Corrosion on the hub, damaged during installation. The hub profile on one side is worn.• Check that the hub splines are not damaged; if necessary, replace the clutch friction disc.
• Remove corrosion and lubricant residue from the hub and shaft. Lightly lubricate the shaft with clutch disc spline grease -G 000 100-.
• Remove excess grease by moving the clutch friction disc back and forth.
• If the hub profile is worn, the position of the centering bushings should be checked.
• Check the clutch release bearing, guide sleeve and pressure plate; replace if necessary.
The pressure plate stroke is too small (the wrong pressure plate was installed).• The pressure plate should be selected from the electronic spare parts catalog
The engine offset relative to the gearbox is too large (there are no centering bushings), therefore, the flat lock washer of the clutch friction disc became warped.• Before installing the gearbox, the centering bushings must be inserted.
• Check the clutch friction disc and pressure plate for damage and replace if necessary.
The friction lining has lagged behind due to high rotation speed (downshifting was done at high speeds). A detached friction lining due to prolonged clutch slippage during acceleration.• Replace the clutch disc.
Shocks caused by changes in load in the event of a sudden increase in throttle and a sudden decrease in engine speed. The unit support is too soft.• Replace the engine mount with a new one
Uneven engine running.• Check engine power and make some adjustments.
If a friction clutch disc with free wheel noise suppression is installed.• Explain the situation to the customer.
Concentricity of engine and gearbox.• Check the centering bushings and replace them if necessary.
The clutch slips, there is no or insufficient traction power.Incorrect clutch friction disc installed, incorrect pressure plate installed.• The clutch disc and pressure plate should be selected according to the electronic spare parts catalog
The clutch friction disc is worn out, burnt, the pressure plate is hot, there are scratches, the pressure plate is deformed due to improper installation, the pressing force of the pressure plate is too low, improper driving, natural wear and tear.• Replace the clutch disc.
• Replace the pressure plate.
• Explain the situation to the customer.
The clutch slips, there is no or insufficient traction power. The clutch friction disc, pressure plate and flywheel are oily. Defective seal on the engine shaft and drive shaft, respectively. Presence of grease on the mating surface due to over-lubrication of the hub.• Replace the clutch disc.
• Clean the mating surfaces of the pressure plate and flywheel.
• Replace the radial shaft seal, remove excess grease from the drive shaft.
Incorrectly installed clutch disc.• Correct the installation, check the clutch friction disc, replace if necessary.
Flywheel depth is too large or there is excessive wear on the friction lining contact surface.• The flywheel should be selected from the electronic spare parts catalog
• Check the clutch friction disc and pressure plate and replace them if necessary.
Leaky clutch release slave cylinder.• Replace the clutch release slave cylinder.
The clutch jerks and the unit operates with a knocking sound.Presence of air in the system.• Remove air from the system, check the brake fluid level, check the system for leaks.
• Replace the faulty part.
The engine does not run cleanly.• Check engine power and make some adjustments.
Incorrect vehicle driving mode, too low engine speed during acceleration.• Explain the situation to the customer.
Incorrect clutch friction disc installed.• To select the correct clutch disc, use the electronic parts catalog.
The unit support is too soft and worn out.• To support the unit, use the electronic spare parts catalog
Oily clutch friction lining, oily contact surfaces of the pressure plate and flywheel (oil leak from the clutch housing).• Check the seal of the clutch drive shaft or crankshaft, replace if necessary.
• Replace the clutch disc, clean the pressure plate and flywheel.
The clutch release bearing is seized and sticks to the guide sleeve (presses one-sidedly on the diaphragm springs of the pressure plate).• Replace the clutch release bearing and guide sleeve.
• Check controls and control support.
Due to a jammed clutch release bearing, the friction surface of the pressure plate has movement only on one side. The pressure plate housing was deformed during installation. The friction surface of the pressure plate has movement on only one side.• Check the mating surface for the clutch friction lining on the flywheel, check the pressure plate and diaphragm springs, and replace the pressure plate if necessary.
• Replace the clutch release bearing and guide sleeve.
The drive shaft is too lubricated (traces of grease on the clutch disc, pressure plate and flywheel).• The pressure plate and flywheel should be cleaned of grease if damaged (traces of wear due to scuffing, heating, scratches) should be replaced.
• Remove any remaining grease from the hub and shaft, lightly lubricate the shaft with clutch disc spline grease -G 000 100-.
• Remove excess grease by moving the clutch friction disc back and forth.
Noise at idleThe torsion shock absorber spring is broken.• Replace the clutch disc.
A clutch disc without shock absorption is installed (rumble at idle).• To select the correct clutch disc, use the electronic parts catalog
The pressure plate is deformed, unbalanced.• Replace the pressure plate.
Uneven engine running.• Check engine power and adjust if necessary.
The engine offset relative to the gearbox is too large (there are no centering bushings).• Before installing the gearbox, the centering bushings must be inserted.
The intermediate plate is worn on the flywheel.• Hang the intermediate plate on the flange sealing gasket and place it on the centering bushings.
