Repair of clutch release mechanism 02J (Skoda Octavia 1U)

1 – gearbox; 2 – ball joint, 25 Nm (lubricate with MoS2-based grease "Molyko"; 3 – primary (drive) shaft seal (replace); 4 – guide sleeve with a circular cross-section sealing ring (the circular cross-section sealing ring is put on the guide sleeve; if the circular cross-section sealing ring is damaged, the guide sleeve must be replaced, and the clutch release bearing area must be lubricated with MoS2-based grease; 5 – retaining spring (fixed to the clutch release lever); 6 – screw, 20 Nm; 7 – clutch release lever; 8 – clutch release bearing (do not wash the bearing, just wipe it, replace the noisy bearing, lubricate the bearing surfaces on the clutch release lever with MoS2-based grease); 9 – screw, 20 Nm; 10 – clutch booster slave cylinder; 11 – Clutch release mechanism rod (lubricate the working area of the rod with MoS2-based grease); 12 – mounting bolt (fixes the clutch release lever when installing the gearbox in the car, after assembling the gearbox – remove)
