Installation
Before pressing the piston back into the cylinder using the piston return tool, it is necessary to pump out the brake fluid from the hydraulic brake drive reservoir. Otherwise, the brake fluid, if it was added, may leak out and cause damage. Press the piston back into the brake mechanism support using the piston return tool "T10145". Lightly lubricate the guide surfaces of the pads on the brake mechanism shield with grease from the repair kit.

Insert the brake shoes "2" together with the springs "1" into the mounting sockets on the brake shield "3". Carefully install the brake caliper on the brake shield.

Screw the brake caliper to the brake shield with new self-locking screws, holding the guide pins. Connect connector "1" of the brake pad wear indicator. Install the wheels.
Note: After each replacement of the brake pads, press the brake pedal firmly several times with the vehicle stationary until the brake pads are in their working position. After replacing the brake pads, check the brake fluid level.
