Unscrew both fastening screws, while keeping the guide pin from turning.
Remove brake caliper -1- and secure with wire so that it does not stretch the brake hose with its weight and damage it. Remove brake pads -2- and -3- from brake caliper -4-.
Cleaning
Attention! Do not clean the brake system with compressed air, the resulting dust is hazardous to health! Thoroughly clean the guide surfaces of the brake pads on the brake shield, remove rust. Clean the brake caliper. Use only alcohol to clean the brake caliper.
Installation
Before pressing the piston with the help of a device for returning the piston to its original position in the cylinder, it is necessary to pump out the brake fluid from the reservoir of the hydraulic brake drive. Otherwise, brake fluid, if topped up, may leak out and cause damage. Press piston with piston resetting tool -T10145- into brake caliper. Slightly lubricate the guide surfaces of the pads on the brake shield with the grease from the repair kit.
Insert the brake pads -2- together with the springs -1- into the seats on the brake shield -3-. Carefully install the brake caliper onto the brake shield.
Screw the brake caliper with new self-locking screws to the brake shield, while holding the guide pins. Connect the connector -1- of the indicator of the maximum permissible wear of the brake pads, Install the wheels.
Note: After every brake pad change, depress the brake pedal firmly several times with the vehicle stationary so that the brake pads return to their working position. After replacing the brake pads, check the brake fluid level.
