The clutch is disconnected with the gearbox removed by "moving upwards". The mechatronics remains on the gearbox. When installing a new clutch, it is necessary to determine and adjust the positions of the engagement bearings "K1" and "K2". Thus, the clutch is pressed onto the primary shaft. When installing one clutch, "most" mechanics push the clutch all the way onto the primary shaft. But this is not the optimal position for the clutch! Therefore, after installation, the clutch is slightly pulled "upwards", towards the retaining ring.

The clutch is disconnected with the gearbox…

Note: The clutch automatically adjusts the working clearance. Fluctuations can negatively affect the clutch adjustment device. Therefore, the clutch must not be dropped. Also, when installing the clutch, do not drop the clutch in the gearbox. Even if the mechatronics is removed, "sharply pulling out" the "TW407" mount under the engagement levers can negatively affect the adjustment device.

Both "arrow" breathers must be removed when performing installation work on the gearbox, and the holes must be hermetically sealed with suitable plugs. If oil leaks from the mechatronics, the mechatronics must be replaced. The "new" mechatronics for the gearbox is filled with oil at the manufacturer. Filling in a way other than the factory way is impossible.

Both «arrow» breathers must be removed when…

Note: The "new" mechatronics unit for the gearbox is filled with oil at the manufacturing plant. The "removed" mechatronics unit is returned filled with oil (plug the vent with a suitable plug). When handling mechatronics, ensure ventilation.
