Note: Follow the instructions for the DSG - 0D9-. Note the topic "contaminated oil" and the instructions for changing the oil filter. When changing the transmission oil, it is not always necessary to change the transmission oil filter. Therefore, it is necessary to follow the instructions for when to change the transmission oil filter and when not to. When disconnecting and connecting the battery ground wire, additional work must be performed.

Set the control lever to position "P". Remove the engine casing. Remove the air filter. Remove the battery and battery bracket.

Caution! Hot steam will escape when the expansion tank is opened. Cover the cap with a rag and carefully open the tank. When the engine is warm, the cooling system is under pressure. Before disconnecting the coolant hose, slowly turn the expansion tank cap to relieve the pressure first. Place a lint-free rag on the transmission oil and gearbox cooling radiator to collect any leaking coolant.
