Fuel radiator
1 – protective cover; 2 – fuel radiator; 3 – radiator mounting nut; 4 – fuel pipes
The fuel radiator serves to cool excess fuel drained into the tank from the engine on vehicles with diesel engines.
The radiator is installed underneath the vehicle in the fuel return line.
1. Remove the protective cover 1.
2. Disconnect fuel pipes 4 from radiator 2 by pressing the pipe retainer buttons.
3. Unscrew the mounting nuts 3 and remove the radiator 2.
4. Install the new radiator in reverse order. Tightening torque of the fuel radiator mounting nut is 15 Nm.
