Cap without sleeve
Lid with one white sleeve
Clutch housing cover without bushing
Clean mounting sleeve -T10302- before use, do not use scratched mounting sleeves.
Note: The cap and circlip must be replaced. Never install a new cover with a hammer, do not lubricate or touch the middle seal with your hands! Do not pick up a new cover by the center hole. At this point, the cover must not be touched, lubricated or allowed to come into contact with other materials. Leakage may be the result.
The cover -A- must only be handled as shown in the figure! A new cover in the area of its seal must be clean from oil and dry! If necessary, clean the shaft end of the gearbox housing cover. Only the outer edge seal can be lubricated with DSG oil. Place mounting sleeve -T10302- on a flat surface.
The middle seal -B- of the new cover -A- now needs "mold": Guide cover horizontally and evenly over entire assembly sleeve -T10302-. In doing so, bring the sealing lip into the installation position. Pull assembly sleeve -T10302- upwards out of cover and fit gearbox clutch housing cover onto shaft end.
Slide cover -A- over assembly sleeve -T10302- and press evenly into place.
Carefully! Act carefully. Any blow - even a very light one - on the lid will definitely lead to leakage.
The cover can be carefully hooked up and lifted with a screwdriver -1- in its place - see illustration. arrow - until it rises "new" retaining ring. Install "new" retaining ring.
