Clutch as a spare part

1. Clutch: The cover of the new clutch housing is not secured with the retaining ring pos. 5. It sits a little "tightly" in the clutch. This prevents parts from falling out during transportation. The cover is removed carefully.
2. Ten retaining rings; The rings have different thicknesses with a step of 0.1 mm.
3. Clutch housing cover: pay attention not to damage the inner working edge of the seal. To protect the working edge of the seal, the manufacturer has already installed a bushing; leave this sleeve in the lid.
4. Retaining ring: for clutch housing cover
5. Retaining ring: for clutch housing cover; do not install deformed retaining rings; replace
Press the clutch housing cover when removing the clutch from the packaging. This prevents the clutch housing cover and the disc cage located underneath from slipping out of the inner discs.

Pay attention to the correct position of the four piston rings "A".

Note: The joints of the rings should not be located "one above the other". Slowly turn the rings once, they should turn easily, without clamping.
Important! Position of the clutch housing cover on the clutch. Before removing the clutch housing cover, check whether there is a mark on the clutch "see arrow A". If there is no mark, apply color marking. Subsequently, the "protrusion" of the clutch housing cover "see arrow B" must be reinstalled in the marked place "see arrow A". If a new clutch is installed, remove the retaining ring "1".

Carefully remove the clutch housing cover from the "see arrows" clutch and set aside.

Caution! Do not remove or lift the disc cage. Not even a little bit! The discs may spin.
Place the clutch so that they cannot fall out. This prepares the clutch for installation.
