Attention:
- The exhaust system components become very hot. This may cause a fire and serious injury.
- Unauthorized car key.
- If an unauthorized key is inserted into the ignition switch, it can be removed as follows.
- Automatic transmission: If the car key cannot be removed from the ignition switch, press and release the lock button on the selector lever. The car key can be removed.
- Manual transmission: Remove the vehicle key from the ignition.
Attention:
- Careless or improper use of car keys can cause serious injury.
- Take all keys with you every time you leave your vehicle. Otherwise, the engine may start and electrical equipment such as windows may operate, which could result in serious injury.
- Never leave children or people in need of assistance unattended in a vehicle. In an emergency, these people will not be able to get out of the car on their own or provide assistance to themselves. In summer, a closed car interior can become very hot, and in winter, it can become very cold, which creates a risk of heat stroke or hypothermia, which can even be fatal, especially for children.
- Under no circumstances should you remove the key from the ignition switch until the car has come to a complete stop: the steering column may lock and the car will become uncontrollable.

Starting the engine

- After starting a cold engine, it operates with increased noise for some time in accordance with operational requirements. This is normal and should not cause concern.
- At outside temperatures below +5°C (+41°F), light smoke may appear under the vehicle if the fuel-fired auxiliary heater is on.
- A natural gas engine is started using gasoline because the engine must warm up to a certain temperature to run on gas. Once the required operating temperature is reached, the engine switches to gas.
The starter or engine may be damaged if you try to start the engine while driving or try to start it again immediately after stopping.
- When the engine is not warmed up, high speeds and heavy loads on it should be avoided.
