Cylinder head cover bolt tightening sequence



Always replace the mounting bolts after disassembly.

The mounting bolts must be replaced in several stages:


  • First approach: tighten the mounting bolts by hand until they stop;
  • Second approach: tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 8 Nm;
  • Third approach: tighten all mounting bolts by 90°.

Third approach: tighten all mounting bolts by 90°.
