Installation
Installation in reverse order. Remove sealant residues from the mating surfaces of the crankshaft cover, cylinder block and oil pan with a chemical sealant remover. Degrease the mating surfaces. Install the guide sleeve "T10053/1" on the crankshaft.
Note: The sealant must not be expired (see expiration date).

Cut off the tip of the tube of sealant at the mark located on its end (the hole diameter should be approximately 2 mm). Apply a bead of "arrow" sealant to the cleaned mating surface of the crankshaft cover, as shown in the figure. Thickness of the sealant strip: 2...3 mm.
Note: The thickness (diameter) of the sealant bead should not exceed 3 mm, otherwise the sealant protruding from the joint may get into the oil pan and clog the oil intake mesh. After applying the sealant, 5 minutes are allotted for installing the cover.

Slide the new crankshaft cover onto the centering sleeve. The centering pins must fit into the holes in the cylinder block. Remove the guide sleeve. Tighten the crankshaft cover mounting screws. Install the oil pan. Install the toothed belt (adjust valve timing).
