2. Tension roller
3. Camshaft toothed pulley
4. Toothed pulley of the fuel injection pump
5. Toothed pulley of the coolant pump

Loosen nut "1" of the tension roller and remove retainer "T10265".

Note: The projection of the tension roller arrow must enter the cast recess of the cylinder head. Ignore -arrow-. The locking bolt "1" after tightening the fasteners of the toothed pulley of the camshaft must not fit against the lower projection "2" of the oval hole.

Make sure that the locking bolt "1" is between the center of the oval hole and the lower projection "2", if necessary, shift the position of the camshaft toothed pulley by one tooth clockwise and reinstall the toothed belt. Carefully turn the tension roller eccentric with the angle screwdriver "T10264" clockwise "arrow" until the pointer "2" is in the middle of the hole in the base. The nut "1" should not turn with it. Hold the tension roller in this position and tighten the nut.

Make sure that the locking bolt «1» is between…

Insert the stop "T10172" with the adapters "T10172/11" into the camshaft toothed pulley, as shown in the figure. Press the stop in the counterclockwise direction "arrow" and hold with tension. In this position, tighten the bolt "1" of the camshaft toothed pulley and the nut "2" of the fuel injection pump toothed pulley. Tightening torque: 10 Nm.

Note: The injection pump pulley has a limited rotation range. Therefore, it is necessary to check whether the pulley is in the extreme position after tensioning the belt.

Make sure that the mark on the fuel injection pump pulley does not coincide with the position of the lock. If necessary, move the fuel injection pump pulley clockwise by one tooth and reinstall the toothed belt on it. Remove the locks "3359", "T10492" and the crankshaft lock "T10490" and check the installation of the timing phases.

Make sure that the mark on the fuel injection…
