Note: There must be no oil or coolant in the threaded holes of the cylinder head mounting bolts located in the cylinder block. Replace the cylinder head bolts. Do not reuse self-locking nuts. Replace the screws that are tightened to a certain angle. Replace the lip seals and gaskets. Remove the new cylinder head gasket from the packaging immediately before installation. Handle the gasket very carefully. Damage to the silicone sealant layer or rolled edges of the gasket may lead to leaks. When installing a cylinder head from the exchange stock with the camshafts installed, the friction surfaces of the roller rocker arms and the surfaces of the camshafts must then be lubricated. To secure all hose connections, use original spring clamps similar to those installed at the factory. To ensure that no valve comes into contact with the piston crown when starting the engine, carefully turn the crankshaft less than 2 turns.
Make sure that no foreign objects get into the cylinders or oil/coolant channels when cleaning the cylinder head and block. Carefully remove all sealant residues from the cylinder head and block using a chemical sealant solvent. Before installing the cylinder head, remove the crankshaft lock "T10490". Turn the crankshaft in the direction opposite to the working direction, set it in such a position that the pistons are approximately at the same level from "TDC". If the cylinder block does not have bushings for centering the cylinder block and cylinder head, then install them. In doing so, pay attention to the markings on the gasket.
Note: When replacing the cylinder head or cylinder head gasket, use a new gasket with the same number of holes as the old one. After replacing the connecting rod and piston group components, select the appropriate cylinder head gasket by measuring the piston protrusion at "TDC".
Place the cylinder head gasket on the centering bushings "arrows" in the cylinder block. Installation position of the cylinder block gasket: side with the "oben" mark or the part number for the cylinder head.

Install the cylinder head, insert and tighten the cylinder head mounting screws.
Note: There is no need to tighten the cylinder head mounting bolts after repairs.
Rotate the crankshaft in the working direction until the pin "arrow" of the crankshaft lock "T10490" enters, during rotation, the hole in the crankshaft cover. Install the toothed belt (adjust valve timing).
