Removal



1. Remove the drum brake support shield (Section 9); do not disturb the handbrake cables and brake pipes unless necessary. Remove the steering knuckle.

Installation



2. Install in the reverse order of removal, paying attention to the following.

  • a) Tighten the nuts and bolts to the specified tightening torque Specifications.
  • b) See the relevant Chapters Section 9 and make sure the rear brake components are assembled correctly.
