Wheel arch liners and underbody protection panels
1. To protect the bottom of the car from aggressive environmental influences, various types of panels and screens are used, which are fastened using a combination of screws, nuts and clamps. The order of removing the panels is quite obvious and becomes clear during an external inspection. Act methodically, do not rush, do not start separating the panel until you are sure that all the fasteners are released. Some of the clamps simply snap onto the body elements, to release others, you need to remove/unscrew the central pins.
2. Fasteners damaged during panel dismantling must be replaced with new ones during assembly.
Emblems and moldings
A special double-sided adhesive tape is used to attach various types of overlays, emblems and moldings to body panels. When removing the component, it is necessary to heat it with a hair dryer to soften the adhesive layer, then, using a knife, cut the adhesive mass and separate the component from the panel surface. Due to the high risk of damage to the paintwork, it is better to entrust this work to car service specialists.
